Agar Bleach 5 Litre (BL5)
Agar Bleach is a solution of sodium hypochlorite in water with an available chlorine content of 5% when packed. Because it offers a highly effective method of killing undesirable micro-organisms including germs and bacteria, Bleach is an excellent, economical sanitiser for a wide range of everyday and commercial applications.
Bleach contains available chlorine present in solution in the form of sodium hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid. Hypochlorous acid is a powerful germ-killing agent that kills bacteria, yeasts, moulds, and many viruses, making Bleach an effective cleaner for removing mildew, mould, and fatty or soapy build-up from tiles, grouting, baths, basins, and shower recesses. It is excellent for sanitising food preparation work surfaces, utensils, and equipment, and is approved by AQIS for sanitising food processing equipment. Bleach also destroys stains, making it useful in the laundry as a whitening agent.
