Agar Chloradet 5 Litre (CH5)
Agar Chloradet is a concentrated, high-foaming cleaner with a bleaching action, formulated as a premium blend of grease-cutting anionic surfactants, foaming agents, caustic alkali, builders, and buffers together with sodium hypochlorite that attacks and bleaches all types of soiling. Because it offers a highly effective method of killing undesirable micro-organisms including germs and bacteria, Chloradet is a hospital grade disinfectant and an excellent sanitiser for demanding cleaning environments.
Chloradet contains available chlorine present in solution as sodium hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid, a powerful germ-killing agent that kills bacteria. Combined with caustic alkali and detergents, it delivers excellent overall cleaning action, ripping dirt off hard surfaces including walls, tiles, baths, and showers. It effectively removes cooking fats, smoke films, greasy marks, carbon deposits, food spills, mould, and general soiling found in food preparation areas, kitchens, and bathrooms, and is excellent for removing ingrained dirt from ceramic tiles. It suspends dirt and soil, kills bacteria, removes mould, breaks down fats into water-soluble by-products, and is biodegradable. Highly concentrated, it dilutes up to 1:160 for exceptional economic value.
Chloradet is suitable for all surfaces not harmed by water and chlorine, including walls, ceilings, unpolished tiled floors, baths, showers, glass, and porcelain. It should not be used for cleaning aluminium or alkali-sensitive polished floors, and should always be pre-tested on aluminium surfaces before full application. Never mix Chloradet with any other chemicals, especially acids, as this may produce toxic chlorine gas or other poisons. Avoid splashing on clothing, as it will burn holes in cotton and other fabrics, and it is corrosive to the skin, so protective gloves, clothing, and safety glasses must be worn as detailed in the SDS.
This product is a Class 8 corrosive substance and a Dangerous Good under the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.
