Agar G-Solve Pre-Spotter 1 Litre (GSO1)
G-Solve is a water-emulsifiable pre-spotter for removing stains from carpet and clothing prior to rinsing, and can also be used on hard surfaces to remove Blu-Tak, chewing gum, and greasy spots. It is a sophisticated blend of solvents and surfactants, powerful enough to dissolve hard-to-shift black grease and oil stains, chewing gum, tar, asphalt, candle wax, cooking fat and oil, oil-based furniture polish, ink stains, and many types of adhesive.
G-Solve is a genuinely potent solvent for carpet spotting and removing difficult soiling, and can also be used to clean hard surfaces beyond carpet and fabric. Note that G-Solve may attack some rubber and soft plastic surfaces, so it is always worth testing in an inconspicuous area before full application.
For carpet and fabrics, pre-test on an inconspicuous area to ensure colour will not run, then apply G-Solve to a cloth and dab the stain, working from the edge toward the centre. Once the stain is gone, rinse G-Solve from the carpet by sponging with water or hot water extraction. Washable clothing should be laundered after use. For removing adhesive or chewing gum, scrape off excess residue if possible, then pour G-Solve onto the remainder and leave for 2 to 5 minutes to penetrate and break down before removing.
