Research Products Sensation Carpet Spotter 500mL (CHRC-205212 / 165188)
Sensation is a very fast acting alkaline side spotter developed to solve the problem of cleaning hard-to-remove albumin-based spots. Albumins are water-soluble proteins that can be coagulated by heat and are found in egg white, blood, milk, and animal and plant tissues, making Sensation particularly effective against protein, food spills, blood, vomit, and faeces.
Sensation is also ideal for removing spills including medicines like iodine and soft drinks, and for the general cleaning of older synthetic large loop pile carpet found in many older homes and rental units. It is also suitable for use on the traffic lanes of synthetic carpets, as some older polyester, acrylic, and nylon fibres are extremely difficult to brighten and clean using conventional cleaning methods, brightening colours and removing many commonly occurring stains. Sensation may also be added to prespray for a power boost on old acrylic carpet, and works as an under-door and edge "black line remover." It has been developed specifically for man-made fibres, providing improved cleaning performance on the synthetic fibre types where it's needed most.
Supplied in a convenient 500mL size, ideal for spot treatment work without the commitment of a larger pack.
For spotting, use neat and apply to the affected area via trigger sprayer during the extraction process, or in the treatment of stains that have not been removed by extraction cleaning. Always rinse, neutralise, or extract after using Sensation as a spotter. For pre-spraying, dilute 1 part Sensation with 8 parts water, spray evenly over traffic areas, and allow 2 to 3 minutes for penetration, then dry scrub with a wand for even application before extracting with no chemicals in the machine, always using Foamex defoamer in the tank. Pre-test before use in an inconspicuous area, covering with a clean white towel and checking for colour transfer after 5 minutes. For professional use only, suitable for use on carpet and upholstery.
