Whiteley Viraclean pH Neutral Hospital Grade Disinfectant 5 Litre (210556)
Viraclean is a major development in advanced cleaning and disinfecting technology from Whiteley Medical, the result of years of intensive research and development into improving the safety and efficacy of hospital grade disinfectants. It offers broad-spectrum efficacy against a wide range of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, and can be used for both cleaning and disinfecting, making it genuinely versatile across healthcare and associated environments.
Viraclean has been proven to kill Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli, Enterococcus faecalis (VRE), Acinetobacter, Acetobacter, Salmonella choleraesuis, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae (CPE/CRE), Candida albicans, and Coronaviruses including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), and is also proven effective against Hepatitis B Virus, Herpes Simplex Virus, and Influenza Virus. It is TGA approved (AUST L 69000) and passes TGA Option B for hospital grade disinfectants.
This pH neutral, non-flammable formula is non-corrosive to metals, does not contain chlorine or oxidising biocides, and will not cause staining on fabrics or carpets, with a mild lemon fragrance rather than a harsh chemical smell. It is suitable for use on floors, walls, benchtops, equipment, desks, and high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, workstations, and telephones. Viraclean is not intended for use on therapeutic devices, and while it has excellent general materials compatibility, it has not been tested on every type of plastic or material, so degradation, cracking, or colour change should be watched for and use discontinued on that material if this occurs.
To remove organic soiling such as blood, sweat, or sputum from a surface, apply Viraclean liberally around the soiled area, working towards the centre, and soak up using a fresh, disposable cloth. To disinfect the surface, apply undiluted and leave to dry for 10 minutes at room temperature. Gloves are recommended whenever using disinfectants. Always follow the dilution and application instructions on the product label, and ensure adequate ventilation during use.
