Actichem Deozyme Enzyme Digester and Odour Neutraliser 5 Litre (AP438 .05)
Actichem Deozyme is an advanced odour remover and enzyme digester designed to eliminate deeply embedded odours from organic sources. Formulated with four active enzymes and Bacillus organisms, it works through a patented odour-pairing formula on a molecular level, tackling the actual source of odours rather than simply masking them. This makes it highly effective against the stench of human and animal waste, spoiled food, and decaying matter.
Deozyme is highly effective on most water cleanable surfaces, including carpet, natural stone, wool, upholstery, ceramic and porcelain, concrete, leather, plasterboard, rubber, and vinyl, making it a genuinely all-surface solution. Because odour molecules become trapped in fabrics, carpets, and porous materials, simply cleaning an area is often not enough to fully remove smell at the source, which is where Deozyme's enzyme-based digestion delivers a real advantage.
To use, add 30 to 60ml per litre of water (1:16 to 1:32) depending on soil conditions, increasing to up to 100ml per litre for heavy soil conditions. Shake well before use. For severe odour situations, spray heavily onto the affected area and allow the product to dwell rather than immediately extracting, so the enzymes have time to fully digest the organic material. Use warm water around 30 to 40°C to activate the enzymes, and never use boiling water above 60°C, as this will kill the living enzymes and render the product ineffective. Do not mix Deozyme with any other product, and avoid use of hot water, bleach, or chlorinated products afterwards, as these can kill the active bacteria, though the odour counteracting properties will remain unaffected. A 1:100 solution can also be left as a residual treatment on resilient surfaces for ongoing odour control.
