Actichem Protein Spotter is a specialised protein and blood stain remover designed to tackle a wide variety of organic stains from carpets and fabrics. Its powerful formula combines advanced protein-dissolving chemistry with super wetting and penetrating agents to ensure effective dissolution and removal of protein soils, releasing them from fibres and fabrics for complete cleaning.
Protein Spotter targets protein-based stains including egg, gravy, milk, blood, vomit, urine, coffee, and other organic materials, as well as betadine and iodine, delivering genuinely thorough results on stains other spotters can struggle with. Super wetting and penetrating agents quickly and effectively saturate fibres, carpet backing, and even the underlying substrate, ensuring total removal of protein contamination rather than a surface-level treatment. It is ideal for tough stains and spills in homes, healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and schools, and can be used on carpets and water-cleanable upholstery.
This convenient 500mL size comes ready to use with a spray head, making it a practical, portable size for spot treatment work without the commitment of a larger container.
To use, scrape or blot up all loose surface soil, then apply Protein Spotter undiluted directly to the stain area until the fibre or fabric is wetted out. No dilution is necessary. Agitate with a carpet rake or upholstery cleaning brush, allow 10 to 20 minutes reaction time, then rinse extract using Actichem Rinse Pro. Allow to dry, assisting with increased ventilation if needed.
