Actichem Fire Restore is a powerful fire restoration cleaner designed specifically for hard, resilient surfaces. Its advanced chemistry cuts through the tough oily soils created by fire, smoke, and soot activity. Where fires have consumed synthetic materials such as paint, plastics, and rubber, the resulting soot deposits contain significant oils and resins that penetrate deep into porous surfaces. Fire Restore's unique chemistry is engineered to penetrate these porous materials, breaking through and releasing stubborn soot and smoke deposits for a genuinely restored finish.
Fire Restore is safe and ideal for use on all resilient surfaces including tiles, concrete, masonry, terracotta, natural stone, and unsealed lino. Most painted concrete floors, powder coated metals, zincalume, construction timber, and structural steel can also be safely cleaned with Fire Restore, though pretesting for substrate chemical sensitivity is recommended. If sensitive substrates are encountered, a weaker dilution can be used, or Actichem's Fire Fix is the better choice for delicate surfaces.
Fire Restore is specifically designed for fast, effective removal of soot residues from resilient surfaces on larger jobs, offering strong cleaning performance that helps keep restoration costs down on bigger areas. Do not use on stain resistant carpets except in genuine restoration situations.
To use, add 50 to 100ml per litre of water (1:10 to 1:20) depending on soil conditions, increasing to up to 200ml per litre for heavier soiling. Always pre-test in an inconspicuous area for fibre, dye, and substrate chemical sensitivity before full application. Oxyboost can be added to the diluted solution for enhanced odour control and stain removal.
