Whiteley Protect Penetrating Stone & Concrete Sealer 5 Litre (190634)
Protect Penetrating Sealer protects surfaces against both oil and water-based staining, making sealed areas easier and quicker to clean. It preserves the natural appearance of the sealed surface rather than altering its look, and is water based, containing no dangerous or toxic solvents.
Protect is suitable for use on most porous surfaces including concrete, sandstone, granite, marble, slate, brick, and tiles. It helps prevent acid damage and efflorescence, is non-yellowing, and UV resistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Easy to apply and requiring minimal labour, Protect Penetrating Sealer will protect treated surfaces for many years, though under certain high wear conditions such as heavy walkways, periodic testing and reapplication may be needed.
To use, test in a small inconspicuous area first to confirm suitability. The surface should be clean, dry, and free from any waxes, coatings, or finishes, with any painted or stained adjacent surfaces covered before application. Apply Protect to the surface using a brush, roller, or garden-type sprayer, and remove any remaining sealer that has not penetrated the surface after 10 minutes. One litre covers approximately 20m² per coat, depending on the material being treated and the application method.
