Dominant Glassmaster Glasswashing Detergent 5 Litre (C12591)
Glassmaster is an odourless, low foaming and mildly alkaline detergent specially formulated for use in glasswashing machines. It restores badly stained and dirty glasses to a streak-free sparkle, and is a low foaming, non-caustic free rinsing formula suitable for use in commercial glass washers, including compatibility with polycarbonate glassware.
Most glasswashers have a built-in pump to dispense the detergent, set to deliver approximately 3g per litre of Glassmaster. For use in older machines with detergent tanks, start with a dilution of 2g per litre and adjust if required. In soft water areas, concentration can be reduced to around 2g per litre. For sensitive plastics such as polycarbonate, do not allow concentration above 3g per litre or a pH higher than 10; a Dominant representative or technician can check and adjust concentration to its optimum by measuring the pH on glasses before rinsing, which should sit around 9.5 to 10.
This product is highly alkaline and may be corrosive to some metals, including aluminium and brass. Always wear appropriate PPE and read and understand the SDS before use.
