Agar Cap-It-Off is an encapsulation cleaner for use on all types of carpet and washable fabric upholstery. Rather than relying on traditional wet extraction, Cap-It-Off encapsulates soils so they can be quickly and easily removed by vacuuming once dry. Carpet encapsulation works by mechanically working the chemical into the carpet, enclosing soil in a crystal on the carpet fibres that lifts away cleanly during vacuuming.
Cap-It-Off is a concentrated cleaner diluted with water to create a rich, high-foaming liquid used to scrub the treated carpet area. This foam removes and suspends soiling from carpet fibres, and as the carpet dries, the detergent and soiling dry down to a crystalline, brittle residue that is removed easily by dry vacuuming. Cleverly formulated with specially selected ingredients, it requires no rinsing, dries fast, and helps prevent rapid resoiling, leaving carpets fresh with a pleasant fragrance. It is safe for use on wool, stain-resistant nylons, and all washable upholstery fabrics, making it ideal for busy commercial carpeted floors where minimal downtime and a fast return to service is essential.
To use, dilute as directed and apply lightly so that one litre of solution covers 10 to 20m² of carpet. Use a slow-speed rotary scrubbing machine fitted with a nylon brush, bonnet, or white pad to scrub the solution into the carpet, producing a light foam without over-wetting. Once dry, dry vacuum the carpet to remove the encapsulated soils. Do not mix with any other chemical, including deodorisers, as this may spoil the encapsulation process.
