Filmstar is designed to be used on the widest range of indoor floor surfaces. This is achieved through excellent adhesion, enhanced by two base sealers suitable for porous stone, concrete, vinyl tiles, terrazzo, terrazzite architectural terrazzo, and pavers. Even porous ceramic tiles can be coated with this system, and sheet vinyl and linoleum don't need any pre-sealers at all. Filmstar provides a high traction finish in wet or dry conditions with incredible wearability and gloss, requiring no special application technique for a wet-look gloss straight off the mop.
Using polymer science, Filmstar delivers ultra-high traction, super-grip floors under both wet and dry conditions, alongside incredible wearability and an ultra-high gloss wet-look finish. In real terms, this helps building owners and body corporates meet the demand for safer indoor surfaces amid increasing public liability and slip-resistance compliance requirements. Developed over two and a half years using scientific data from the CSIRO, Pendulum, and Tortus 11 test equipment, Filmstar, when used as part of the Filmstar maintenance programme, consistently exceeds both Australian and New Zealand Standards 4663-2002 (Dry Test) and 3661-1-1993 (Wet Test), without compromising film toughness for slip resistance or gloss. Use over Bedrock on supermarket floors, and over Blockade on stone or terrazzo surfaces.
