Odaban E is an antimicrobial, fast-drying deodoriser for use in the dry carpet cleaning process, with a spicy aroma residual, and is used in conjunction with Turbo Dry. Removing putrid and "wet dog" odours from carpet has always been difficult due to the many thousands of odour types involved, and Odaban E has been specifically formulated to bind to unpleasant odours to create a genuine non-odour, rather than simply masking the smell.
Odaban E is ideal for eliminating odours originating from rotting food, smoke, pet urine, and sewerage. When using on carpet, extraction clean and remove as much of the odour source as possible, then spray lightly over the affected area and agitate in; do not rinse. For persistent odours such as pet urine, undiluted Odaban E may be injected into the carpet underlay by syringe for a more direct treatment. If the odour source cannot be located, Odaban E can be added directly to the machine solution tank and used in the normal cleaning process. When using on hard floors, add to water and mop the contaminated area, or alternatively use as a general spray, misting into the air or directly onto the contaminated area.
