Citrafresh is a high performance extraction prespray concentrate with natural orange deodorising action, made using natural orange oil solvent (D-Limonene), citrus oils, and vegetable oil based detergents. It is ideal on greasy carpets, cutting through filthy mess with special additives that solubilise heavy staining and food spills, and offers genuinely strong performance across a wide range of soil types, including the greasiest restaurant carpets and the hardest to clean acrylic fibres.
Being low in pH and meeting all the criteria and specifications of AS 3733, Citrafresh is safe on all carpet fibres, from the finest Chinese silk rug to the grubbiest new generation nylon carpet or a beer-soaked hotel woollen carpet. Used as a prespray, it offers dramatic cost savings in both time and chemical usage, with 95% of jobs requiring a dilution of only 1 part to 15 parts water, an exceptionally economical dilution rate compared to most low pH presprays, which typically need 1 to 10 parts water for good results.
The natural orange aroma left behind helps remove odours such as the "wet dog" smell of damp wool or flooded carpets, and Citrafresh will even destroy the smell of old cooking odours trapped in carpet. Because the fragrance is naturally derived rather than synthetic and petroleum-based, there is less likelihood of nasal irritation or allergic reaction compared to conventional presprays. There is no need to add further chemicals to the cleaning solution tank, as Citrafresh as a prespray is all that is required, saving money and avoiding solution pump clogging or damage from chemical additives.
To use, dilute 1 part Citrafresh to 15 parts warm water in the spray tank. Pre-spray the carpet to be cleaned, paying special attention to high traffic or heavily soiled areas, ensuring the carpet is consistently wet without being oversaturated. Allow the prespray to remain on the carpet for 3 to 5 minutes, always working on a manageable area and without allowing the prespray to dry, then extract with clean water and leave to dry.
