Actichem Tile and Grout Restore 5 Litre (AP160 .05)
Actichem Tile and Grout Restore is a proprietary restoration cleaner formulated specifically for neglected, black grout lines and heavily soiled tiles. Its low pH formula contains no hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, phosphoric, or sulphamic acids, yet delivers more powerful and effective results while remaining safer and more pleasant to use than traditional acid cleaners.
Tile and Grout Restore makes quick work of mineral scale, cement and grout smear, efflorescence, soap scum, and embedded stains, providing tough action on general grime. It is excellent for grout restoration ahead of sealant application, restoring the original appearance of tiles and grout while remaining low in toxicity and OH&S impact, making it suitable for use in sensitive environments such as bathrooms, showers, pool surrounds, and builder cleans.
It is safe for use on all man-made tiles and can be used with caution on sandstone, quarry tiles, terracotta, and slate, as well as granites and bluestones with flamed or sawn finishes. It should not be used on acid-sensitive or polished surfaces including marble, limestone, or polished granite.
To use, dilute 1 part Tile and Grout Restore with 10 to 30 parts water for heavy-duty cleaning and restoration, or 1:80 to 1:100 for grout residues and lighter duty applications. Apply with a clean mop and bucket, rotary scrubber, or auto-scrubber to a limited area at a time, without allowing the solution to dry. Scrub thoroughly, allow 10 to 30 minutes dwell time and re-agitate, then extract the resultant slurry with extraction equipment. Neutralise remaining residues by rinsing thoroughly with a 1:300 solution of Tile and Grout Cleaner Pro or Proneutro. This product is an acid, so gloves and eye protection must be worn, and the SDS should be read and understood before use.
