Actichem POG 5 Litre (AP482.05)
Actichem POG is a super strength blend of powerful polar and non-polar solvents formulated for removing tough oily soils, grease, and paints. It is a high-performance, water rinseable blend of solvents, wetting agents, and emulsifiers, engineered to break down stubborn oil stains, paints, cosmetics, grease, oily spots, adhesives, and most inks.
Beyond its role as a targeted spotter, POG also works as an effective cleaning booster when added to prespray solutions for heavily soiled carpets, dramatically increasing grease-cutting power on filthy commercial traffic lanes. It is non-flammable and low in VOCs, making it a safer alternative to traditional solvent-based products, with low fumes suitable for use in enclosed environments.
POG is suitable for use on all carpet fibres, fabrics, and hard surfaces, though some surfaces are solvent sensitive, including certain carpet backings, plastics, and polymer coatings. Always pre-test in an inconspicuous area for substrate sensitivity to solvents and dye stability before full application.
As a booster, add 10 to 30ml of POG per litre of standard mixed alkaline prespray, or 100 to 200ml per litre into a Hydroforce concentrate jug (1:9 tip). When used as a spot remover, apply neat (undiluted) directly onto a clean white cloth or carefully onto the affected area.
