Actichem Perox 5 Litre (AP869 .05)
Actichem Perox is a high strength 50% hydrogen peroxide solution, widely used in commercial laundries for destaining, whitening, and low temperature sanitising of garments and linen. It is also used as a specialty stain remover on carpet, fabric, and porous hard surfaces, and is readily biodegradable, making it a genuinely greener alternative to many traditional bleaching and sanitising agents.
Perox employs the powerful oxidising action of hydrogen peroxide to neutralise tough urine and pet stains, as well as many colour stains such as wine and cordial, while also providing strong oxidisation of bacteria and odour-causing germs. It is non-residual, leaving nothing behind and requiring no rinsing, and is colour safe for use on colourfast fabrics and carpets. It is fibre safe for natural and synthetic fibres, though fine fabrics should always be pre-tested for fibre and colour stability before use.
As a cleaning booster, mix Actichem cleaning detergent with water to the recommended dilution, then add 20 to 30ml of Perox per litre of ready-to-use solution, stir briefly, and use within 60 minutes. As a spot treatment, add 40 to 60ml of Perox per litre of clean water, agitate, and allow 10 minutes of activity time, noting some spots may take up to 2 hours. No rinse is required. Perox is sensitive to heat and light, so it should be stored out of direct sunlight and not left in a vehicle for extended periods.
This product is a Class 5.1 oxidising agent and is classified as a dangerous good for transport. Always read and understand the SDS before use, wear appropriate protective equipment, and never add Perox to an undiluted cleaning solution.
