Whiteley Lemex Neutral Detergent 5 Litre (120146)
Lemex is an inexpensive, lemon-perfumed liquid suitable for general use as a cleaner or reodorant. It is a neutral detergent containing a powerful cationic surfactant alongside a fresh, long-lasting lemon perfume, and being neutral, it is non-corrosive to fibres and common hard surfaces, including normal domestic, commercial, and most hospital or medical flooring.
Lemex is suitable for general-purpose cleaning throughout facilities on surfaces such as floors, benches, and most hard surfaces, with its principle use as a mopping detergent. It can also be used on Class 1 Medical Devices, including operating tables, theatre trolleys, lights, and other equipment within a healthcare facility, and has been entered onto the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). Using Lemex as directed helps healthcare facilities comply with current healthcare regulations. Note that Lemex should be used as a cleaner only on medical devices; where disinfection is required, follow up with an approved disinfectant such as Viraclean or Surfex.
For general cleaning, dilute 25mL per litre of potable water for normal cleaning, or 50mL per litre for heavy cleaning, and 200mL per litre for deodorising. For cleaning medical devices, use 25mL per litre where no visible soiling is present, or 50mL per litre where soiled with blood or body fluids. Make fresh solutions daily.
