Agar Anti-Static Carpet Spray 5 Litre (ANS5)
Agar Anti-Static Carpet Spray is a premium-grade, easy-to-apply treatment that prevents static electricity from building up in carpet fibres. Static electricity develops on untreated carpets through friction between shoes and fibres, and is especially prevalent in low humidity conditions. The resulting sparks and discharges are both annoying and potentially hazardous, particularly near sensitive electronic equipment, while a build-up of static charge also attracts dirt and dust from shoes and the air, accelerating carpet soiling.
Anti-Static Carpet Spray eliminates these issues by treating carpet fibres directly to stop static charge from accumulating. It is economical, invisible, and does not affect the feel of the carpet, and carries a pleasant perfume that leaves treated areas smelling fresh. It has no tendency to attract dirt and is compatible with most fluorocarbon products. Treatment typically lasts 3 to 6 months, or until the next cleaning, whichever occurs first, and is effective on all types of synthetic, natural, and blended carpet fibres.
On dry carpet, dilute 1 part Anti-Static Carpet Spray to 2 parts warm water and spray at a rate of 1 litre per 15m² of carpet, applying more solution for deep pile carpets until evenly damp. On damp carpets following extraction cleaning, use undiluted and spray at a rate of 1 litre per 30m². Dilution and application rates can be adjusted for very thin or very thick carpets, but carpets should never be over-wet.
