Whiteley Tile Plus Highly Concentrated Degreaser Detergent 5 Litre (200207)
Tile Plus is a concentrated, heavy-duty alkaline detergent designed for the removal of fats and oils from floors, tiles, terracotta, concrete, and pavements. It rapidly removes carbonised food deposits and heavily congealed fats and greases, and as a water-soluble cleaner and degreaser, it quickly emulsifies, suspends, and removes all types of animal, vegetable, and petroleum oils.
Tile Plus is extremely efficient at removing grease and grime in industrial, commercial, and food processing areas, including commercial kitchens. It contains a corrosion inhibitor and does not impart any cleaning odours, making it an ideal replacement for solvent-based cleaners and degreasers, and it does not contain any Butyl Solvent. Being non-flammable and water based, it offers a safer, more eco-friendly alternative to traditional solvent-heavy degreasers.
Do not mix with other chemicals, hot water, or use undiluted. Do not use on metal surfaces, polished floors, or painted surfaces, as the product may react with aluminium, tin, and zinc to produce flammable hydrogen gas.
To use, dilute the product, allow 5 to 10 minutes dwell time on tiles, then agitate with a stiff bristle brush or pad. Remove residue and rinse the area thoroughly with clean water to avoid leaving any residue on the surface. Apply with a mop and bucket.
This product is corrosive to metals and causes severe skin burns and eye damage (GHS Category 1, signal word DANGER). Always wear appropriate PPE, including gloves and eye protection, and read and understand the SDS before use.
