Actichem VDS is a high performance volatile dry solvent stain remover, formulated for removing a wide variety of oily spots on upholstery, carpet, and delicate fabrics. Using a careful selection of solvents drawn from the dry cleaning industry, VDS achieves powerful spot removal with the added benefit of no residue and no resoiling issues afterwards.
The powerful formula works effectively on oily soils, grease, adhesives, tar, and even many paints and inks, while remaining safe on most fabrics and fibres. It dries in minutes with no rinsing needed, and complete evaporation means there is no risk of rapid resoiling and no solvent ring left behind. VDS is the first choice for spotting and pretreatment on delicate and dry-clean only items, making it ideal for fabrics that cannot be wet with water.
To use, apply Actichem VDS to a clean white absorbent cloth and blot to remove the spot, working from the outside toward the centre of larger spots without rubbing. Deep spots may need light brushing, and treatment can be repeated if necessary, followed by brushing the fabric to realign fibres. For severely soiled upholstery, mist VDS onto the area as a prespray before following normal upholstery cleaning techniques.
This product is a Class 3 flammable liquid. Read and understand the SDS before use, and handle and store away from heat sources and open flame.
