Agar Presto 5 Litre (PREST5)
Presto is a high-foaming cleaner for the removal of fats and oils from walls, floors, and equipment in food processing areas. It is a concentrated, caustic-based cleaner-degreaser specifically made for fat removal, removing fatty, oily soiling, baked-on fats, carbon residues, food spillages, and fatty films from most hard surfaces.
Presto is highly reactive and potent for fat removal, suspending dirt and soil so it will not redeposit onto the surface. It is effective in both hot and cold water, breaking down fats into water-soluble by-products so fats rinse away easily. Presto is suitable for walls, floors, food processing equipment, ovens, barbecues, hot plates, shower recesses, stainless steel, fan exhausts, hoods and ducting, butchers' boning rooms, abattoirs, kitchens, and all food processing areas. It is not suitable for use on aluminium unless diluted below 1 in 100 with water.
For light duty cleaning, use 1 part Presto in 80 to 120 parts water. For heavy duty cleaning, use 1 part Presto in 40 parts water. For spray-wipe cleaning, use 1 part Presto in 10 parts water. For heavy degreasing, use 1 part Presto in 5 parts water, up to neat for the toughest jobs. Rinse product-contacting surfaces with potable water after use. Presto is corrosive on skin, so protective gloves and clothing must be worn, and splashing should be avoided. Strong solutions of Presto may appear milky; this does not affect performance.
This product is a Class 8 corrosive liquid (UN 1719). Always read and understand the SDS before use.
